A few years ago Morgan’s mom commissioned us to photograph her grown family. Both daughters were now out of the house and the boys quickly were nearing that stage so Lisa wanted to be sure to capture a last family portrait. Morgan brought along Jesse that day and I remember telling Lisa that they looked like an engaged pair…. well, I must admit I called it! ;)
This last week I had the opportunity to have them in front of the camera again to capture their engagement photos! As I worked with them it all came back to me- they are super easy to photograph! They just get super comfortable in front of the camera and really just enjoy their time together. The way in which they relax and just “work it” for the camera is such a wonderful gift to a photographer!!
Morgan and I had talked a lot about the feel of the engagement session prior to their shoot. She wanted her engagement session to be “ethereal, dreamy, romantic, woodland fairy tale (less Cinderella, more tinker bell though- fairy princess!)” With that conversation in mind we set out to the forest just outside Tillamook and played the evening away. Here are a few of my favorites from their woodland fairy tale!
Jesse and Morgan, from a grateful heart; thank you. For allowing me to document this special time in your life and for being so amazing to work with! ~Xiomara
